DANILO M. CORTEZ – President
Danny started his mining adventure in 1983, when he operated nonmetallic mining in Botolan, Zambales. He went on to operate as far as Del Gallego, Camarines Sur; Sibuyan Island (Romblon), Generoso, Davao Oriental and Nabunturan, Compostela Valley.

Danny retired as Rear Admiral of the Philippine Navy, after serving the military for 37 years, and bowed out from the service as the 31st Flag Officer-in Command of the Philippine Navy.

Danny was a former member of P-NOY cabinet as the Secretary/Presidential Adviser on Military Affairs. A product of the Philippine Military Academy, Class 1977, Danny has ever since been the consistent PMA Class President of 1977. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the La Salle University; pursued and attended further studies at various seminars at the US Naval academies.

Cortez is best known for his advocacy of the Public-Private Partnership that envisions leasing Navy properties along Roxas Blvd and Fort Bonifacio to finance the stalled modernization programs. It was also during the incumbency of Cortez that the PN was awarded the “Proficient” Status, the third stage of achievement in the Performance Governance System (PGS) of the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA). Upon his retirement from the military service his main focus has been within his business interests with a variety of visions and advocacies for the nation.

STEPHEN D. LLOYD – General Manager
Stephen is a qualified Geologist by trade with over seventeen (17) years of management experience in the Philippines.

He has been responsible for training and managing over 120 local staff in two different factories for refinery and manufacturing work. He has worked at every level of operations in numerous mining related facilities. Stephen has extensive experience as a skilled fabricator and welder with a high competence in mechanical engineering specifically in the mining and mineral processing industry.

The majority of Stephen’s experience comes from conceptualizing, establishing and operating small to large mining and dredging projects and has proven to be competent and precise on all duties undertaken. Some key achievements to date have been as follows:

  • Personally designed and manufactured two different mining dredges that have been in use for the past four years.
  • Designed, built and operated two small scale hard rock gold processing plants.
  • Designed, built and operated a 100m3/hr alluvial gold dredge.
  • Member of the board of The Guild of Philippine Jewelers
  • Received numerous awards from Rotary Club Manila San Miguel and Marina East for public service projects.
